Construction industry has steadily grown over the past decades with the continuous support from the HKSAR Government. According to the Construction Expenditure Forecast by the Construction Industry Council, the overall construction expenditure from now to 2028/29 will be around HK$200 billion to HK$300 billion per annum. It covers the construction of public and private housing, implementation of hospital development and redevelopment projects, development and expansion of new towns and new development areas, etc.
