- Hong Kong Institute of Construction Part Time Diploma in Construction or Professional Diploma in Construction Programme
- The enrichment programme provided by Hong Kong Institute of Construction (20 days for 2 years)
Target Participants
Below two types of trainees are eligible to join the programme：

(i) A fresh graduate of the Diploma in Construction Programme offered by the HKIC；and (ii) Not more than 2 years of service after passing the Intermediate Trade Test (Semi-skilled Worker)；and (iii) Study in HKIC's Professional Diploma in Construction Programme. |
(i) A fresh graduate of the Certificate in Construction Programme offered by the HKIC；or graduate of short courses of designed trades offered by the HKIC；or graduate of ITCTS；and (ii) Study in HKIC's Part Time Diploma in Construction Programme. |
Applicable to graduates of the following Hong Kong Institute of Construction：

Trainees under the age of 19 who are engaged in the specified types of work under the Apprenticeship Ordinance must additionally sign an apprenticeship training contract managed by the Office of the Director of Apprenticeship of VTC. For details, please contact the Hong Kong Institute of Construction or the Office of the Director of Apprenticeship.
Monthly Salary of Trainees

The employer's monthly salary for the trainees is not less than (According to the type of work) |
First Year: $14,000 or $18,500 (HKIC subsidies employers $3,500 monthly as allowance to trainees) Second Year: $18,000 or 23,000 (HKIC subsidies employers $4,000 monthly as allowance to trainees) |

Bonus Scheme
- Retention Bonus
If a trainee performs satisfactorily in the first year and passes the interim assessment, a bonus of HK$24,000 will be issued to the trainee.
- Completion Bonus
If a trainee performs satisfactorily throughout the entire programme period and passes the final skill assessment, a completion bonus of HK$30,000 will be issued to the trainee.
Employer Eligibility
The employer who is going to apply for this programme shall meet at least one of the following requirements：
(i) Member of the Hong Kong Construction Association; or
(ii) Contractors who have paid levy to the CIC within the past 5 yeas (counted from the application date); or
(iii) Sub-Contractors who is currently under direct employment of those contractors mentioned in (i) or (ii); or
(iv) Member of the Hong Kong Construction Sub-Contractors Association; or
(v) Member of the Hong Kong Plumbing & Sanitary Ware Trade Association; or
(vi) Member of the Hong Kong Federation of Electrical and Mechanical Contractors; or
(vii) Member (Employer) of trade Unions in relation to constrcution; or
(viii) Specialist Trade Contractors and the Sub-contractors registered under the Sub-contractor Registration Scheme or submit their registration
applications before programme commencement; or
(ix) Owner of refurbishment, repair and maintenance projects or new projects (owner refers to items a, b, c below)
(a) Owner: property holder; or
(b) Developer: shall be a member of “The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong (REDA)”; or
(c) Property Management Company: shall be a member of “The Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies”; or
(x) If the Applicant does not fall into the above approved categories, the application will be submitted to the Sub-committee for
consideration and approval; and
(xi) Has been joined the CICATP Approved Employer List.
